Who we are:

True North refers to clarity of purpose, a clear path to success and the disciplined realization of goals. True North is that compass bearing that guides us deliberately forward amidst a barrage of outside influences conspiring to seductively lure us off course. True North is that intentional & deliberate heading that represents our most deeply held values and the commitments we've made to ourselves and others to stay true and hold steady.

The Alliance - We are adventurers and explorers. We are motivational speakers, experiential educators, business consultants, health & wellness practitioners, leadership & life balance coaches and team development trainers.

The mission of True North Alliance is to promote and sustain...

We take a holistic approach when working with our clients that treats the physical, emotional and psychological fitness of each individual as a key component in creating organizations that are capable of achieving their highest goals and aspirations.

When we hear from our clients that we’ve had a substantially positive influence in both their personal lives and their work, we know that we are fulfilling our purpose.

We're dedicated to professionally guiding individuals and teams in their journey to unlock and expand...

Our principle players:

Chess Edwards

Chess EdwardsChess has organized learning experiences for groups from 5 to 500 from board rooms to the tops of wind swept granite spires. Chess translates the mind set of the adventurer and explorer into critical areas of thinking for success in today's ever changing corporate environments. Just as he explores far beyond conventional boundaries in his travels, Chess enjoys digging deep to discover your own team's unique journey of development.

With over twenty countries and 6 continents visited, Chess Edwards journeys far beyond the comfortable boundaries that intimidate the common traveler. Seeking out the challenges, adventures and wisdom that these far corners of the globe provide, Chess returns home again and again with fresh life perspectives to share.

He has led hundreds of groups on personal Journeys of Discovery as he guides travelers through their own life changing insights, inspirations and significant "Ah-ha" moments of personal truth.

With a passion for photography Chess’ captivating work has captured the hearts and imaginations of a wide range of audiences. His photographs represent exotic locales from around the world and tell a very human story of connection, common ideals, cultural diversity and shared universal truths.

Chess Edwards combines the skills of a photographer, storyteller, educator & adventurer into interactive keynote and training presentations that entertain, inspire and educate.
